Title: Account Director
Location: Austin, TX

A 50+ person technology public relations agency with four offices is searching for an Account Director for its team. In this role, newly created due to growth, the Director will manage a team and several B2B technology accounts. This role is a leadership position in the the Austin office.

Responsibilities Include:

• Manage a group that produces at least $1 million in annual revenue and a staff of up to seven who support that revenue
* Become deeply involved in recruiting and managing staff and in making employment recommendations to optimize group results and client satisfaction
* Provide extensive domain expertise, critically important in helping strategic client counsel to ensure client plans and MetricsMatter scorecards are on course and the agency's clients are satisfied
* Contribute to accounts with strategic analysis, media relations and content production
* Review strategic documents and staff deliverables to ensure they meet and exceed agency standards
* As a proficient user of the ERP system, regularly review and manage multiple client budgets and staffing assignments
* Serve as the budget and deliverables goalkeeper for staff members; align as needed to ensure goals are met and staff is both challenged and motivated
* Identify training gaps, drive potential solutions with the training department; and ensure each staff member in the group has growth and development opportunities to get to the next career level
* Develop and manage the execution of group marketing plans and develop new ideas to network with prospects and build a pipeline
* Create and manage the execution of group marketing plans to recruit top talent
* Support sales engagement activities in addition to presentation and proposal development

Title: Senior Account Executive
Location: Denver, CO

A growing B2B technology PR firm with four offices is searching for a strong Senior Account Executive for an important account role, with responsibility for managing and owning multiple client relationships. This firm is working with hot, well-funded start-ups and larger companies in the areas of IoT, wireless, telecom, big data, cloud, security, networking and more and has several new clients in all of these areas. There is an opportunity to focus in different verticals depending on experience and personal interest. Responsibilities Include:

• Individual lead contributor, responsible for delivering 70 percent of the media coverage from clients’ proactive editorial, new release and launch programs
• Build effective technology or business pitches that successfully interest target media based on briefings secured and coverage garnered
• Secure analyst interest, have a working knowledge of the analyst firms to ensure each client can establish an optimal relationship with industry analysts
• Responsible for presenting a savvy and progressive PR agency image to clients, employees, customers, partners, and prospective employees
• Lead by example and consistently operate in a highly ethical and supportive manner
• Prepare and deliver effective presentations to clients to effectively explain media, analyst, and social media opportunities
• Plan and deliver results for client programs based on the metrics promised, and ensure each client’s monthly scorecard includes media coverage and other results completed
• Develop content such as blogs, bylines, and Q&As and contributed articles for client programs
• Participate in managing the profitability of accounts by maintaining a clear picture of available budget on each project and spending time accordingly
• Engender client trust with enthusiasm and passion for the industry domain and demonstrated interest in building expertise and knowledge
• Provide effective mentoring to junior staff and contribute development ideas to assigned account manager

Requirements Include:

• Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from a four-year college or university in PR, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, Business, and two to five years of agency or in-house experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience 
• Excellent written and oral communications
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously from conception to completion by anticipating challenges and ensuring deadline with an eye to budget adherence
• B2B technology domain expertise to maximize opportunities for clients
• Strong analyst and media relationships enabling quick added-value to client programs
• Social media expertise in building and engaging communities and increasing digital share of voice
• A track record of building and inspiring client confidence with your counsel and ideas demonstrated by several examples of successful ideas you have delivered to clients
• Successfully manage output against goals and thrive in a transparent work environment
• Efficient and organized for maximum productivity; thrives on tight deadlines and challenges
